Customizing adjustment code categories

Organize and classify adjustment codes according to how your organization thinks about them

Written by Rivet Success

Rivet provides out of the box categories for adjustment codes that you can use to filter and report by. You can always change those mappings or create new categories based on how your practice operates.

To view and edit these categories, click on the gear icon in the upper navigation, then Account settings from the dropdown, and then Categories in the left bar.

Change the categorization of an adjustment code

To change the category an adjustment code is mapped to, scroll or search for the specific adjustment code, then click the Category dropdown, and the select the new category you wish to map the adjustment code to.

Rename, delete, or add a new adjustment code category

Click Edit categories in the upper right of the page to open the category editor. There you can rename an existing category, delete an existing category and remap its associated adjustment codes, or add a new category you can then map adjustment codes to.

Restore defaults

If you ever want to return to the out of the box defaults Rivet provides, click Restore defaults in the upper right corner of the page.
